UNCERTAIN is not a failure. It most often means the claim cannot stand on its own — for example a sentence referring to “that presentation” cannot be resolved without the surrounding context. If a check fails outright (network error, service unavailable), the claim is left unchecked rather than being reported as UNCERTAIN, so a failure never quietly lowers your Trust Score.Trust Score
A single 0–100 number for the page or video, computed from the verdicts of every claim on it.UNCERTAIN claims never count toward the numerator — they are not treated as true — but they add half weight to the denominator. So a page full of unverifiable claims scores lower than one whose claims all check out, without being punished as hard as one that is actively wrong.
If no claim could be decided either way, there is no score to show.
Reliability tiers
The score maps to one of five tiers, shown with the score on the result card.
The 50 boundary also drives YouTube playback alerts — videos scoring below it pause on false claims, so what you are warned about lines up with the tier you were shown. See YouTube.
