Live mode transcribes speech as it happens and checks claims as they are spoken. It is for livestreams, webinars, and calls — situations where there is no time to pause and look something up. Open the Live panel from the icon rail in the side panel.

Choosing a source

Microphone capture asks for permission the first time you use it.Tab audio has to be started with the keyboard shortcut. Chrome only allows a tab to be captured in response to a direct user action, so there is no button for it.

During a session

Claims are detected and checked automatically as they arrive — there is no Verify all step in this mode, because there is no end to wait for. While a session is running, the Live icon in the rail shows a red dot, so you can tell it is still listening from any panel. The panel header shows the tab you started from, so a session that has been running a while still says what is being checked.

After a session

Live sessions are recorded in History like any other check, with the claims found and their verdicts. Microphone sessions are labeled by start time, for example Microphone session · 2:34 PM, since there is no page they belong to. Tab audio sessions are labeled with the tab’s title and URL.

Plan limits

Live audio is not included on the Free plan. Paid plans include a monthly transcription allowance — see Pricing.
