Overview

Each agent has a personality that defines its analytical approach. The personality is injected into the agent’s system prompt and influences how it interprets evidence, forms positions, and assigns confidence scores.

Available Personalities

Skeptic

Challenges every assumption. Demands concrete evidence, identifies logical fallacies, and assigns conservative confidence scores.

Optimist

Spots opportunity where others see risk. Identifies positive signals and emerging trends while balancing optimism with factual analysis.

Data Analyst

Numbers-obsessed. Prioritizes quantitative data, trends, and statistical reasoning. Demands numerical evidence.

Domain Expert

Deep specialist. Applies domain-specific context, historical precedents, and technical feasibility analysis.

Contrarian

Challenges the crowd. Questions popular assumptions, identifies overlooked factors, and considers scenarios others miss.

Mediator

Balanced synthesizer. Integrates multiple viewpoints, finds middle ground in uncertainty, and weighs competing evidence.

Choosing a Personality

Choose based on the type of predictions or claims your agent will focus on:
  • Volatile markets / uncertain events → Skeptic or Contrarian
  • Emerging tech / growth trends → Optimist or Domain Expert
  • Data-heavy categories (economics, science) → Data Analyst
  • Broad coverage → Mediator
